News and New Article Published: Steps of Faith and Growth
I am honored that the publisher of Inspired Women Magazine has invited me to be a regular contributor. I have written for IWM in the past, and I am excited to continue our relationship on a more regular basis.
If you’re not familiar with IWM, I encourage you to check them out. Pass it along to your family and friends. Here is more information:
Inspired Women Magazine exists to encourage, motivate and inspire faith and divine excellence in women. It is a magazine geared towards women, but insightful for men too.
Inspired Women Magazine endeavors to share with you true experiences of ordinary people with extraordinary victories. Our objective is to assist women at looking at their struggles, fears and dilemmas in the face through the experiences and insights of women like themselves who have fallen, but most importantly, have been picked up by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Each testimony and article shared is a Banner of Victory over diverse backgrounds, environments, elements, situations, and circumstances.
We hope that Inspired Women Magazine will reach you through a word and testimony of other women and even men, as it strives to be a light on a path that everyone must take at some point. Hebrews 10:24 say, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Therefore, by building and edifying one another and stirring up the gifts given to each of us without jealousy, envy, or strife, Inspired Women Magazine seeks to bring women together through the grace exemplified in our testimony and by the power of God’s Word moving us towards victory!
My first article at IWM is “Steps of Faith and Growth.” I hope you’ll check it out.
Hugs,
Daphne
Steps of Faith and Growth
Thank you to everyone who replied to my poll on stepping out in faith. We had a lot of discussion and great comments. Several of you mentioned that you experience self-doubt once you take a step of faith.
- Second-guessing.
- Cold feet.
- Mixed feelings.
- Can I do this?
- What if I fail?
- Should I step back–or keep going anyway?
What is He calling you to do? What step does He want you to take?
- To start a new career?
- To seek help for your addictions?
- To move on from an unhealthy relationship?
- To help someone in need?
- To adopt?
A person may plan his own journey, but the LORD directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9).
Poll: How easy is it for you to step out in faith?
Many of you remember reading several posts ago that my husband and I are adopting. We’re very close to bringing our kiddos home–actually, March 12th.
Any major decision involves taking a step of faith. The decision to adopt is no different. Of course, some decisions are easier to make than others.
So…I wanted to get your thoughts on this.
First, tell us how easy is it for you to step out in faith. Use a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 means “Not easy at all” and 5 means, “Completely easy.” Then tell us why you gave that rating.
Feel free to reply to others’ comments. As always, please be respectful and kind. (Note: I reserve the right to edit all comments.)
Thanks for participating.
I look forward to reading your replies.
Big Hugs,
Daphne
