NEWS: Seek Shelter Book Release & Interview
Hello, friends!
I’ve been quiet for a while now. (Resting is necessary; you’ve heard me talk about that many times.) 🙂
But… resting doesn’t mean I haven’t been active. Quite the opposite! It means I stepped back and focused on self-care, part of which included writing my latest book, Seek Shelter: Stories to Soothe Your Spirit During Natural Disasters.

2018
This book has an interesting backstory to it. And to tell you all about it is my dear friend and co-author, Kim Wilbanks, who interviewed me about how the book came to be.
Kim is an excellent writer and blogger. She is a wife and a mother of two adult children who have flown the coop and left her with an almost empty nest. Her “baby” is a comical Welsh Corgi named Sir Higgins.

Kim is relatable and has a genuine heart to come alongside others in the empty nest stage of life. I know you’ll enjoy her writing.
So… I’d like for you to do several things:
- Head on over to Kim’s blog and read her interview. Here is the link.
- Comment on her post to enter her giveaway of the book.
- Sign up for her blog!
I appreciate you and we’ll talk again soon.
Big hugs,
Daphne
NEWS: Daphne at the 3rd Annual Spring Market & Craft Fair
It was a privilege to participate in the 3rd Annual Spring Market & Craft Fair here in Lakeland, Florida, earlier this month.
I displayed and sold my books, and I met a lot of people. That’s always one of the highlights of being an exhibitor at conferences and festivals.
I look forward to upcoming conferences and festivals. I have several lined up for this year and will keep you posted when I’m in your area.
If you would like to read more about Women of the Secret Place, click here.
Also, please be in prayer for my next book. Lord willing, I will have it out be year’s end–just in time for the holidays. 🙂
And if you would like me to come speak at your next women’s event, feel free to check out my speaking topics and contact me for more information.
God is doing great things!
Blessings and hugs,
Daphne

- What part does your personality play in your success as an author?
- Take inventory… what is working for you? What is working against you?
- What’s your “core” message; are you being true to your personal mission?
- Who are you attracting? Who has God asked you to reach?
