Daphne will be sharing her testimony on 10/10/10

I am humbled and honored to share my testimony at the Celebrate Recovery Meeting at First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland, Florida on Sunday, October 10, 2010.

Dinner is offered from 5pm to 6pm for a fee of $5.

The co-ed large group starts at 6pm and runs through 7pm. This is a worship-type service, where we sing, read the 12 steps, collect our milestone chips, and then hear a testimony or a teaching. Mine is the testimony for the night.

Then we break out into gender-specific, issue-specific groups from 7pm to 8pm. Groups available to women include:

• Abuse
• Chemical dependency
• Codependency
• Hurts, habits, and hang-ups

Groups available to men include:

• Chemical dependency
• Hurts, habits, and hang-ups

Then from 8pm to 9pm, we have a coffeehouse time, where you can fellowship and get to know one another. You can even find accountability partners and sponsors during this time.
